I received my undergraduate degrees from Jacksonville State University. I became a Residential Advisor at a Job Corps center upon graduating. I, then, decided to change careers, so I attended and graduated from LaGrange College with a Masters of Arts in Teaching. I taught 7th grade Language Arts and Literature as well as 1st grade before obtaining my current position as a 3rd grade teacher. I believe in hands-on learning in the classroom. All children are individuals and it is important to educate the whole child.
